Remote Access Consent
Remote support lets a Quanah Computer Systems technician view and control your computer over the internet to diagnose and fix problems. By starting a session you agree to the following.
How it works
- You start each session yourself by opening RustDesk and reading us the ID and one-time password, or by clicking Accept when we connect. We cannot connect without your action.
- You can watch everything we do and end the session at any time by closing the app.
- We do not install permanent unattended access unless you request it in writing, such as under a managed business plan.
Our commitments
- We access only what is needed for the problem you asked us to fix.
- We will not browse, copy or keep your personal files, photos or messages beyond what the job requires.
- We will tell you before making significant changes, such as removing software or changing settings.
- We never ask for payment card numbers during a remote session.
Stay safe
Only allow a remote session when you contacted us first, or when you are on the phone with us at (210) 628-9012. Scammers often pretend to be tech support. If anyone calls you out of the blue asking to connect to your computer, hang up.
Your agreement
You confirm that you own or are authorized to manage the device, that you have backed up important data or accept the risks described in our Terms of Service, and that you consent to Quanah Computer Systems accessing the device for this support request.
