Terms of Service
These terms apply to services provided by Quanah Computer Systems LLC ("we," "us") to you ("customer"). By booking or accepting service you agree to them. A signed written agreement, such as a managed-services or website contract, takes priority where it differs.
Quotes and payment
- We give a price or estimate before starting work. If the job turns out larger than quoted, we stop and ask before continuing.
- Hourly work is billed in the increments shown on our website. Flat-rate services are billed at the listed price.
- Payment is due on completion for one-time services. Monthly plans are billed in advance and may be canceled with 30 days' notice.
- Invoices unpaid after 30 days may pause ongoing services.
Your responsibilities
- Keep your own backups of important data. We strongly recommend a current backup before any repair. Where we offer to back up first, you may accept or decline.
- Provide accurate information and legal access to the devices, accounts and software we work on. You confirm you own or are authorized to manage them.
- Use only properly licensed software. We will not install unlicensed software.
Data and limits of responsibility
Computer repair carries some risk. Failing hardware, malware and corrupted systems can lose data even with careful work. We take reasonable care, but we are not responsible for data loss, pre-existing problems, or failures of hardware or third-party software and services. To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the service involved.
Response times
Home service is available weekday evenings and weekends. Managed business plans include same- or next-business-day response. We do not offer 24/7 emergency service unless agreed in writing.
Workmanship
If a problem we fixed returns within 14 days and is caused by our work, we will correct it at no charge. This does not cover new malware, new damage, or changes made by others.
Websites and hosting
- You own your domain name and the content you provide. When you leave, we will hand over your files and help transfer your domain.
- You confirm you have the rights to any text, photos and logos you give us to publish.
- Hosting fees cover hosting, security updates and small content changes. Larger changes are quoted separately.
Remote support
Remote sessions require your approval each time. See our remote access consent.
